Beam Nature – Terms and Conditions & Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Beam Nature (hereinafter: "the Business"). The website operated by the Business serves as a platform for booking accommodation and hospitality services in a Bedouin village, purchasing complementary services (such as meals, guided tours, and activities), and buying physical goods and camping equipment via our online shop (hereinafter collectively: "the Services").

These Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policies are subject to the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 (hereinafter: "the Law") and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of a Transaction), 5771-2010.

 

1. Accommodation Booking & Rental Cancellation (Tents, Caravans, and Sleeping Spaces)

1.1. A consumer is entitled to cancel an accommodation booking transaction within 14 days from the date the transaction was made (booking date on the website), or from the date of receipt of the transaction disclosure document (order confirmation email), whichever is later.


1.2. Time Limitation: The cancellation right under section 1.1 shall be valid only if the cancellation notice is delivered to the Business at least 7 working days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
For the purpose of this law in the State of Israel, days of rest are Friday and Saturday (as well as holiday eves and official holidays) and do not count toward these 7 working days.


1.3. Cancellation Fee: For timely cancellations made within the permitted timeframe, a cancellation fee will be charged at the rate of 5% of the total booking value or NIS 100, whichever is lower.


1.4. Late Cancellation: Any cancellation notice delivered less than 7 working days prior to the check-in date will be considered a late cancellation. In such cases, the transaction is non-refundable, and the consumer will be charged a full cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total booking value (or in accordance with the specific terms of the purchased package).

 

2. Complementary Services and Meals (Paid Add-ons)

2.1. Services purchased as an integral part of an accommodation package (such as breakfasts/dinners, guided tours, or workshops) are subject to the exact same cancellation terms and timeframes as the accommodation booking itself, as detailed in Section 1 above.


2.2. In the event that complementary services were booked separately (not as part of a lodging package), the general statutory cancellation rules for services shall apply—meaning cancellation is permitted within 14 days, provided it is done at least 2 working days prior to the date the service is scheduled to be rendered.

 

3. Online Shop (Camping Gear and Physical Goods)

3.1. A consumer is entitled to cancel a transaction for the purchase of camping equipment and any other physical goods within 14 days from the date of actual receipt of the item, or from the date of receipt of the confirmation email, whichever is later.


3.2. Product Condition: A refund is subject to returning the product to the Business intact, in its original packaging (including tags and seals, if applicable), and without any signs of use or damage. The Business reserves the right to inspect the condition of the gear upon arrival.


3.3. Cancellation Fee & Shipping: In case of cancellation due to a change of mind (buyer's remorse), a cancellation fee of 5% of the product value or NIS 100 (whichever is lower) will be deducted. All shipping and logistical costs involved in returning the item to the Business's designated address at [Insert Business Address] shall be borne solely by the consumer.


3.4. Exclusions from the Right of Cancellation: The right to cancel and return does not apply to goods manufactured or customized specifically for the consumer, or perishable items.


3.5. Defective Items: If any camping gear is delivered defective or does not match the item ordered, the consumer will not be charged any cancellation fee. The Business will arrange for the repair, replacement, or a full refund depending on the circumstances.

 

4. No-Show and Weather Conditions

4.1. A guest's failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date (without submitting a lawful and timely cancellation notice in advance) shall be treated as a late cancellation, and the consumer will not be entitled to any refund or credit.


4.2. As this is an outdoor nature and field accommodation experience, standard seasonal weather conditions do not constitute a valid reason for canceling a transaction without a penalty. In exceptional cases of force majeure (such as severe floods blocking access roads, road closures by security forces, or an official closure order for the site), the Business will offer an alternative date or a credit voucher for future use, at its sole discretion.

 

5. Special Provisions for Protected Populations

5.1. Pursuant to Section 14C1 of the Law, a consumer who is a person with a disability, a senior citizen (aged 65 and over), or a new immigrant (Oleh Hadash, up to 5 years from receiving the immigration certificate) is entitled to cancel an accommodation or product transaction within 4 months from the date of the transaction or from the date of receipt of the confirmation document / item (whichever is later).


5.2. This extended right applies provided that the engagement in the transaction included a dialogue (including electronic communication/website chat or phone call) between the Business and the consumer.


5.3. Important Note: The 7-working-day rule for lodging (Section 1.2) still strictly applies to protected populations. Even within the 4-month window, the accommodation cancellation must be submitted at least 7 working days prior to the check-in date.


5.4. The Business reserves the right to request an appropriate certificate proving the consumer's affiliation with one of the groups listed above.

 

6. Methods of Submitting a Cancellation Notice

A consumer wishing to lawfully cancel a booking or a product purchase may do so via any of the following channels:

  1. By clicking the dedicated "ביטול עסקה" (Cancel Transaction) button located in the footer of the website and filling out the electronic form.

  2. By sending an email to: [Insert Business Email].

  3. By submitting a written request to the customer service via WhatsApp or phone at: [Insert Business Phone Number].

The cancellation notice must include the consumer's full name, Israeli ID number (Teudat Zeut), booking/order number, and contact details. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 14 days from the receipt of a valid cancellation notice.
